|---|---|---|
| Caffeine amount | 56mg, 72mg, 125mg or 225mg per pouch. | Varies with the beans, brewing method and cup size. |
| Sugar | Zero sugar. | Plain black coffee has no added sugar. Milk, syrups and sweeteners change the drink. |
| How you use it | Place one pouch between your upper lip and gum, then remove it after use. | Drink from a cup or bottle, hot or cold. |
| What you carry | A can of pouches, with no liquid or cup required. | A drink container; brewed coffee may also require preparation. |
| Taste and routine | Choose a pouch flavor and use it according to the label. | Choose your roast, brew and additions. The drink itself may be part of the appeal. |
| Cost | Compare your selected pack price divided by its total pouch count. | Compare the actual cost of your home-brewed cup or café order. |
Compare the caffeine amount before the format
A cup is not one fixed amount of caffeine. The FDA lists 113–247mg as a typical range for 12 fluid ounces of regular brewed, non-specialty coffee. Check the actual drink where information is available.
One 225mg LyvWel pouch contains more caffeine than one 56mg pouch. Neither should be described as automatically equal to “one coffee.” Compare milligrams and include all caffeine you use that day.
Coffee reference: FDA caffeine content by drink size. The range describes a beverage category, not every coffee or a recommendation for how much to use.
Work out the cost of your own routine
Choose the exact pack
Use the current price and total pouch count for the pack you would buy. Include any delivery costs that apply.
Divide by the count
Pack cost ÷ total pouches = cost per pouch. For coffee, include the ingredients you actually use or the price of your regular order.
Compare like with like
Compare the amount you would actually use, not just the sticker price of a can and a cup. Home-brewed coffee may cost less than a café drink.
Which format fits your day?
A pouch may suit moments when you want caffeine without carrying a drink. Coffee may suit you when you enjoy the taste, warmth or brewing routine. Format preference does not establish that one is healthier, faster-acting or longer-lasting.
Are pouches always cheaper than coffee?
No. The answer depends on the pouch pack, discounts, shipping and the coffee you compare. Use the calculation above with current prices.
Does guarana caffeine guarantee no crash?
No. Guarana is a caffeine source. This guide does not promise a crash-free experience or a different response from coffee; individual responses vary.
Can I keep my coffee routine and use a pouch too?
Count caffeine from both sources and follow the product directions and warnings. A different format still contributes to your total caffeine intake.
